Tony Dias Biography –T-Bone Promotions
Martial Arts.

My martial arts journey with Shotokan Karate, based in Manchester began in the 1970’s.

Then in the 1980’s I started the combat sport Muay Thai, with Master Toddy, again in Manchester. I also learnt Chin Woo Kung Fu with London-based, Master Lee and in 1986 I became Featherweight Champion in this discipline.

Throughout the 1980’s – 1990’s I participated in Mugendo (freestyle kickboxing) in London.

In 2001, I won my first British title at the WAKO British Championships. I have also won multiple other British Titles and eight World Titles during my career, with different associations to include: WAKO, WKA, WKC, WMO and ISKA.

I am now semi-retired from the fighting circuit and am enjoying passing on the extensive knowledge I have gained over the years, to my students. Since opening Dojo’s in Haxby and Malton, I have produced junior and adult World Champions and I intend to produce many more.

T-Bone Promotions provides me with the opportunity to manage and promote fighters. I also organise and run fight events to showcase some of the younger talent we produce.
